An End of Life Care Doula supports people in the end of life process, much like a midwife or doula with the birthing process.
It is an emerging non-medical field that recognizes death as a natural, accepted, and honored part of life.

The last phase of our life can stir fear and anxiety as we each face our end-of-life. This is simply because we have not walked this path before.
Having someone present with the experience and training in such a time can bring a sense of comfort and familiarity to the otherwise unfamiliar.
Our Services
Welcome to Koinos EOL Care LLC
Our services can enhance any care plan of either curative or palliative nature while complimenting hospice services to help create a peaceful passing. Each visit, or session, is tailored to each client based on where the person is in the dying process, and the amount of support the family/caregivers need during the dying process.
Some of the things we can provide during our sessions are:
- Regular visits to patient or family
- Provide coaching support to our client and their family/caregivers
- Help assemble end-of-life documents, such as advanced directive
- Begin to explore the dying person's life, to bring meaning and awareness of their impact
- Develop and write a vigil plan
- Develop legacy projects idea(s) and execution
- Produce a personalized occasion to say "goodbye" to your loved ones
- Perform loving rituals, forgiveness circles and other ceremonies tailored to you & your loved one's wishes
- Initiate vigil plan when imminent death is anticipated
- Personalized guided imagery and meditation
- Continued respite care
- Bedside vigil doula services
After each session, you should have a sense of peace and inner clarity in this emotional and chaotic time. You will feel empowered and have more control over how the rest of your journey will unfold.
